Chef Michael Costa, the Concept Chef at Zaytinya, showcases his culinary talents in a menu inspired by Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cuisines. An Alexandria, VA native, he holds a degree in government and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia. His culinary journey began in Dallas, where he discovered his passion for cooking. Costa honed his skills in prestigious kitchens, including Michelin-starred Michel Rostang in Paris. In 2010, while at Pazo in Baltimore, he was nominated for “Chef of the Year” by the Maryland Restaurant Association.
